Getting Started

We learn about your business, review your current bookkeeping needs, and recommend the services that fit your situation. You will receive a customized proposal, and once approved, secure onboarding begins.

Most clients are onboarded within approximately one week, depending on how quickly account access and requested documents are provided.

We may request access to QuickBooks Online, bank and credit card statements, loan statements, payroll records, sales tax information, and other documents related to your business finances.

Yes. We can review your QuickBooks Online file, identify possible issues, and recommend the appropriate next steps before you select a service plan.

Yes. We can review your current books, help coordinate the transition, identify unresolved issues, and continue your bookkeeping with minimal disruption.

Monthly Bookkeeping and Reports

Monthly bookkeeping may include transaction categorization, bank and credit card reconciliations, loan reconciliation, income and expense review, general ledger review, and monthly financial reporting.

Your reporting package may include:

Monthly reports are generally delivered by the 10th business day of the following month, provided all required information and responses are received on time.

Yes. You may request a one-on-one monthly review to discuss your reports, understand your numbers, and ask questions about your business performance.

Your account is managed by Pro Bookkeeping & Payroll with direct oversight from Ahmed Ali, giving you personalized support from someone who understands both bookkeeping and business ownership.

Bank and credit card accounts included in your service plan are generally reconciled monthly.

Yes. Custom reports may be available based on your business structure, locations, departments, and management needs.

Communication and Security

You can communicate with us through the secure client portal, phone, text, email, video call, or screen sharing.

Clients receive access to a secure online portal where they can upload documents, review bookkeeping questions, and provide responses in one organized place.

We aim to respond promptly during regular business hours. Response time may vary depending on the nature and complexity of the question.

Most services are provided remotely. Meetings are generally available by phone or video call, allowing us to serve businesses nationwide.

We use a secure client portal for document exchange and bookkeeping communication. Access to financial systems is limited to the permissions needed to provide the agreed services.

Whenever possible, we recommend accountant or view-only access instead of sharing personal banking login credentials.

Cleanup and Catch-Up

Yes. We can review past transactions, correct errors, reconcile accounts, clean up the chart of accounts, and bring your financial records up to date.

The timeline depends on how far behind the books are, the number of accounts, transaction volume, document availability, and the condition of the current records. We provide an estimated timeline after reviewing your books.

Yes. We can identify errors, correct classifications, reconcile accounts, remove duplicate transactions, and prepare updated financial reports.

Yes. We explain the major issues, recommended corrections, estimated timeline, and proposed cost before cleanup work begins.

Payroll, Sales Tax, and 1099s

Yes. Payroll support may include employee setup, payroll processing, direct deposit coordination, payroll tax calculations, payroll reports, and coordination between payroll and bookkeeping records.

Yes. We can assist eligible businesses with taxable sales reconciliation, sales tax return preparation, filing, payment coordination, and filing confirmation tracking.

Yes. We can review contractor payments, track W-9s, identify eligible vendors, prepare 1099 forms, and file them electronically.

Yes. Businesses should collect completed W-9 forms from eligible contractors and vendors. We can help track missing forms and prepare the information needed for year-end filing.

Tax Preparation and CPA Coordination

Business tax preparation may be available under a separate engagement. You may also continue working with your preferred CPA.

Yes. We can provide your CPA with organized, tax-ready books, financial statements, general ledger reports, loan information, and supporting documentation.

Tax-ready books are reconciled, organized, and supported by the necessary financial records, making it easier for your tax professional to prepare the return.

Yes. You may continue working with your existing CPA, and we can provide the reports and records they need.

Pricing, Software, and Business Types

We primarily work with QuickBooks Online.

Yes. We can help with company setup, chart of accounts, bank connections, user access, reporting, and ongoing QuickBooks Online support.

Pricing is based on the number of accounts, transaction volume, payroll, sales tax, loans, locations, cleanup needs, and reporting requirements. After reviewing your books, we provide a customized proposal before work begins.

Monthly service plans are customized based on your bookkeeping needs. Your proposal will clearly explain the services included and the agreed price.

Cleanup and catch-up work is generally priced separately because the amount of historical work varies by client.

Yes. We provide remote bookkeeping and payroll services to businesses nationwide.

We work with small and mid-sized businesses, including salons and spas, retail businesses, real estate companies, professional services, franchises, and multi-location businesses.
